Sub- Direct Recruitment Examination for filling up of MTS vacancies for the Year 2015-16 & 2016-17 through open market to be conducted by outsourced agency.
I am directed to intimate that it has been decided to conduct the open market examination for filling up of MTS vacancies relating to the Years 2015-16 & 2016-17. For awareness of candidates/public a notification(copy enclosed) for conducting the above examination is being issued in leading Newspapers(The Sambad & The Times of India) inviting applications online from the aspiring and eligible candidates for filling up of the MTS vacancies . The copies of the vacancy position for 2016-17 & combined vacancy position for 2015 -16 & 2016-17 are enclosed for information. The applicants will be advised to access the website http://odisha.postalcareers.in for further details for submission of the application online. The Online registration will be started from 23-06-2017 and will remain valid upto 23.59 hrs of 22-07-2017. After submission of the application, the candidate would be approaching computerized post offices having e-payment facilities for payment of application fee of Rs.100/- and examination fee of Rs.400/- through e-payment. The details of operating and accounting procedures have already been sent to all concerned, which have been followed in the last occasions for holding of open market examinations for Postman/Mail Guard & MTS held during 2014 & Postman/MG Exam held on 16-04-2017.
The candidates will be allowed to deposit the application fee as well as examination fee through e-payment upto 27-07-2017
.
In this regard, I am directed to request that the Divisional Heads may ensure the working conditions of the equipments needed for e-payment receipt. Suitable instruction may also be issued to computerized Post offices for running e-payment communication without fail. It is also requested to monitor proper communication by the Post Offices on day-to-day basis because any failure in communication may lead to complaints from aspiring candidates.
For the purpose of collection of the amount, Biller-Id has been created in favour of Sr. Postmaster, Bhubaneswar GPO who will be the Nodal Officer .The details of biller-ID created is as follows.

If there is any breach of connectivity in any computerized Post Offices resulting in failure in communication of e-payment particulars, the matter may kindly be taken up with CEPT, Mysore under intimation to this office.
NO POST OFFICE WILL ISSUE MANUAL RECEIPT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
The PMs/SPMs of e-payment post offices will show the amount in SO daily account under a separate head “ e-payment collections” and send a list along with the copy of the receipt to their concerned HO. The Postmaster will check the e-payment and send a list to the Sr. Postmaster, Bhubaneswar GPO endorsing a copy to the Divisional Head.
All the SSPOs/SPOs will examine the list along with receipts from the concerned HO and take action to rectify if any mistake is noticed in e-payment.
The Divisional Heads are requested to issue suitable instructions to all the e-payment post offices to follow the instruction and work accordingly. They are also requested to exhibit the notices in their office notice boards for wide circulation .
