Remembrance on 18th Death Anniversary of
Comrade K.
Adinarayana, 17th June 2020
Dear Comrade,
It is my pleasure to
intimate you that the 18th death anniversary of Comrade K. Adinarayan falls on
17th June 2020. On behalf of Central Working Committee (CHQ) request you all to
observe the occasion in a befitting manner. Accommodate the senior old leadership
those who are worked with Com. Adinarayana, and to share the back history among
our newly recruited comrades. Arrange General Body meetings, working Committee Meetings
for the noble purpose. In Corona scenario Social Distance must be maintain. Late
Comrade K. Adinarayana was born in a poor peasant family in the erstwhile
Hyderabad State of Nizam. He participated in the Historical Telengana movement.
During imprisonment he developed revolutionary ideas of Marxism. Com Adi
started his service career as a casual labourer in the Railway Department and
then joined as ED in the Department of Posts and Telegraph. Subsequently became Group ‘D’, Postman and
finally a postal clerk. He became Circle Secretary of Postmen Group ‘D’ and
EDA’s of Andhra Circle. At Jaipur (Raj) during All India Conference he became
the General Secretary in the year 1968. Com. K. Adinarayana hand over the
charge of General Secretary to Com. Ashok Bhattacharya in kaiwara AIC in
Karnataka Circle. He worked for development of the down trodden and working
class. He conducted continuous struggle for the development and Live style of
EDA’s without any compromise. In the year 1984 he declared one day strike. Strong
discontentment was there among the other category of staff. He stood firmly on
his decision to go on strike. Subsequently all joined in the strike. No doubt
there was achievement for EDA’s provision of DA at par with Central Government
Employees.
In the year 1992 he became
the Secretary General of the NFPE at Dharwad Federal Council. At Dharwad he
took a decision to fight against the antipeople /working class policies of the
Government with other Central Trade Unions from that day, we fought 21 Strike
against neoliberal policies of the Government. Last one day strike was on 8th
January 2020. We will walk together in the path shown by our beloved Legendary
Leader Com. Adinarayana.
